A first time partnership

Director of the Parliamentary training office at the National Assembly Secretariat (NAS) of the Republic of Korea visited MU to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last week.

MU will be the first American university to sign an MOU with the NAS for a degree and a non-degree program. NAS will send its staffs to the Truman School of Public Affairs for the MPA 1+1 program and to the Asian Affairs Center for the 1+1 program (the first year at the AAC and the second year at the State Assembly for an internship). The NAS delegates were director, Mr. Sung, Suk-Ho and Mr. Kim, Young-Il. The NAS will begin sending officials in 2009.
