The AAC Training for Educators program offers participants
classroom settings, seminars and workshops intertwined with on-site
observations and first- visits. Cultural events and tours of universities and
related agencies are regular parts of the training content. This fall, five
Chinese scholars and one South Korean scholar took part in intensive English
language and teaching classes, university programs and field trips while in the
US and Columbia. The classes offered scholars the opportunity to learn and share
English teaching methods and teaching tools. The scholars participated in local
cultural travel around Columbia, Jefferson City and numerous sites throughout
Missouri and the United States. The three-month program culminated with a
graduation celebration, individual professional presentations and a farewell
dinner
