On a recent trip to China, AAC director Sang Kim and program coordinator Gary Dou  established new cooperative relationships with  Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Huangzhong University of Science and Technology. Both institutions are planning to send either students or faculty to MU for further studies or short term trainings;

AAC staff also met with MU alumni from Chongqing and Wuhan .Theses alums treasured their experience at MU and have continued to serve as valuable liaison between their home universities and MU, helping MU make contact with such places as the Huangzhong University nursing school, which  will send their students or faculty to MU for training;

The AAC also  provided initial contacts for MU Law School, School of Parks, Recreation & Tourism and the Truman School of Public Administration.
