MU discusses a triangular cooperative program

A delegation from Khon Kaen University visited Columbia to explore a collaborative PhD program with MU’s Truman School of Public Affairs. This was a follow up visit in an effort to continue discussions concerning the formation of a triangular program between KKU, MU and the University of Hawaii. While touring the campus, the delegation met with the George Justice, the dean of MU’s graduate school, Barton Wechler, director of the Truman School of Public Affairs, Jim Scott, director of the MU International Center, Sang Kim, director of the Asian Affairs Center, John Wedman, director of the School of Information Science and Learning Technology, and MU Chancellor Brady Deaton. The delegation toured the Allen Institute with Gary Westergren, and made an excursion to Lake of the Ozarks before heading back to Thailand. The delegation included Dr. Lampang Manmart, Dr. Peerasit Kamnuaunsilpa, Dr. Supawatanakorn Wongthanavasu, Mr. Sirisak Laochankham and Mr. Somkiat Patkhun.
