9th Harry S Truman Conference

news_023_001.jpgPresident Harry Truman once said that some of the most difficult decisions he made during his presidency involved Korea.  Today, Korea’s role on the international scene remains significant.  The 9th Harry S Truman Conference in Columbia will explore “Issues and Prospects for U.S. – Korea Relations.”  The conference will feature sessions on Korea’s International relations with Northeast Asia and on the advancement of U.S.-Korean economic cooperation.  Presenters from Korea and the U.S. will be featured. The conference will take place on the MU campus, August 28. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The conference will be held in the Mark Twain room (N201) in the Memorial Union. The conference is free except for the noon luncheon on Friday. The cost for the luncheon is $15.
