Chongqing Technology and Business University delegation visits MU

Dr. Wang Chongju, President of Chongqing Technology and Business University, with six other faculty and staff members visited the University of Missouri-Columbia campus on April 29-30, 2009.  The purpose of the visit was to initiate a formal relationship and seek future collaboration in areas of faculty exchanges and short-term teachers / students training programs.  During the visit, President Wang met with Mr. Sang Kim to discuss these exchange programs. Dr. Wang also paid courtesy visits to Dr. Handy Williamson’s office of International Programs and Chancellor Deaton.



All delegation members were impressed with the academic caliber and university facilities of MU.  The group visited the School of Journalism and the Trulaske College of Business. Jim Baden from the Asian Affairs Center joined the exchange program sponsored by the Chongqing Technology and Business University and promoted the MU training programs to the host university.
